For the Server We needed a server for the Site "Linux Preview". We will accept solely the first donation that we receive. In return we will give a Banner in our HomePage to company that give to us the equipment for our Server and this will be for lifetime. We did not need guarantee and technical support for the server, we will accept the server so and as you send it including used equipment. We are looking for a server with the following characteristics: - 1 or 2 Fast Processors - 15 to 20 GB hard drive - 128 or more RAM memory - 10/100 Mbps Ethernet card - Super VGA card with 4 or more MB RAM - 3 1/2 Floppy drive - Atapi CD-ROM Drive - Case Midtower or server style It is not necessary that the server has Monitor, Sound Card and/or keyboard. Who sends to us the server will gain from us publicity in our Web Site, that we consider will have 100,000 visits per day. In addition we will put in all pages a text that says: This Server was donated by XXXX. For Hardware We do not need any guarantee nor technical support for equipment that you send to us. The computer hardware can be "used" and we do not have any problem on this. |
